语境顺应论视角下电影字幕汉英翻译研究

【摘要】：电影作为人们休闲娱乐的方式,已成为各国文化交流不可缺少的一部分,并发挥着越来越重要的作用。然而语言障碍始终制约着人们对其他国家电影的理解和欣赏。因此,如何做好电影字幕翻译,使观众在观看非母语电影时获得与原语观众相同的感受是一个备受关注的问题。本文从语用和认知角度对电影字幕翻译进行分析。以电影字幕翻译为研究对象,分析了五部优秀华语电影的字幕翻译,这些电影在国际上有很大影响力并在国际电影节中获得重要奖项。本文在维索绪尔语境顺应论的视角下,研究了三类语境顺应,即语言语境顺应,交际语境顺应和文化语境顺应。此外,详细讨论了社会、文化等方面对电影语境的影响以及对译入语的顺应与选择。通过论证可以得出以下结论:语境顺应能更好的应用于对电影字幕翻译中语言、交际和文化语境的顺应分析。本文研究成果可以帮助译者在不同的语境中选择合适的语言,准确清晰地做好电影字幕翻译;同时帮助观众更好地了解影片所承载的文化内涵。
[Abstract]:As a way of entertainment, film has become an indispensable part of cultural exchange and plays an increasingly important role. However, language barriers have always restricted people's understanding and appreciation of films from other countries. Therefore, how to do the subtitle translation well, so that the audience can get the same feeling as the original audience when watching the non-native film is a question of great concern. This paper makes a pragmatic and cognitive analysis of film subtitle translation. This paper analyzes the subtitle translation of five excellent Chinese films. These films have great influence in the world and have won important awards in international film festivals. From the perspective of the theory of contextual adaptation, this paper studies three types of contextual adaptation, namely linguistic adaptation, communicative contextual adaptation and cultural contextual adaptation. In addition, the influences of social and cultural aspects on the film context, as well as the adaptation and choice of the target language are discussed in detail. The conclusions are as follows: contextual adaptation can be applied to the adaptation analysis of language, communication and cultural context in film subtitle translation. The research results of this paper can help the translator to choose the appropriate language in different contexts and make the film subtitle translation accurately and clearly, and help the audience to better understand the cultural connotation of the film.
