《澳新食品标准法典》翻译报告

【摘要】:由于各国的经济联系不断加强与融合,在食品领域内的交流也进一步密切。因此,食品英语翻译已经显得非常重要,并成为一个值得研究的领域。本报告的主题是营养信息要求和特殊医疗用途食品,翻译的目的是指导生产商依据严格的标准来生产食品,满足食品安全的需要和保障消费者的合法权益。译者在翻译中主要依据的理论是汉斯·弗米尔的目的论,其核心概念是:翻译过程的最主要因素是整体翻译的目的性,并在翻译过程中准确地传递相关信息。依据弗米尔翻译目的论和翻译的可读性策略,译者在本次翻译实践中探究了如何使翻译适应目标语的文化语境,如何翻译专业术语和食品术语等问题的解决。通过对本文的翻译,译者体验到就医疗用途食品类法典的翻译而言,译者不仅需要熟悉一些外文的食品标准法典,掌握翻译技巧和翻译策略,还需具有较强的文字表达能力。
[Abstract]:As economic ties between countries continue to strengthen and integrate, exchanges in the field of food are also closer. Therefore, food English translation has become an important and worth studying field. The purpose of this report is to guide manufacturers to produce food according to strict standards, meet the needs of food safety and protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers. The translator's main theory in translation is Hans Vermeer's Skopos Theory, the core concept of which is that the most important factor in the translation process is the Skopos of the whole translation process and the accurate transmission of relevant information in the process of translation. Based on Vermeer's Skopos Theory and the readability strategy of translation, the translator explores in this translation practice how to adapt the translation to the cultural context of the target language, and how to solve the problems of translating technical terms and food terms. Through the translation of this paper, the translator experiences that in terms of the translation of food codes for medical purposes, the translator not only needs to be familiar with the food standard codes in some foreign languages, but also needs to have strong translation skills and translation strategies.
