“2015成都国际友城青年音乐周”联络口译实践报告

【摘要】：“成都国际友城青年音乐周”由成都市人民政府主办,是成都对外交流的重要窗口,同时也不断扩大着成都在国际舞台上的影响力。本篇实践报告是以笔者在2015年暑假期间参加“2015年成都国际友城青年音乐周”,并担任口译工作者的联络口译实践为基础,本次口译服务对象是来自美国田纳西的杰克逊·威尔士乐队成员。在音乐周期间,笔者全程陪同杰克逊·威尔士乐队成员,进行彩排、演出、旅游观光、文化体验等一系列的交流活动。与会议口译不同,此次活动涉及到的口译活动多为联络口译,其特点是多以日常交流活动为主,涉及场景众多。加上本次活动的外事接待性质,因此译员更加需要注意联络口译过程中表达的准确与恰当。根据功能主义翻译目的论观点,翻译是一种有目的的人类行为,其目的就是满足译语接受者的需求,翻译的目的决定翻译方法,译者可以根据译文预期实现的功能来选择翻译技巧。这一观点与笔者此次口译实践相吻合,因此笔者在介绍此次口译实践过程的基础上,将相关理论与此次联络口译实践相结合,在目的论的指导下分析了增译、省译、词类转换、语序调整、分译、重复、反译和改述等口译技巧在此次实践当中的具体应用。此外,本篇报告还总结了此次实践的收获与不足,用实践检验课本所学知识的同时,也在实践中学习到联络口译中应注意的礼仪以及文化差异等细节问题,虽不尽然做到全面透彻,但还是期望此实践报告能对笔者今后口译水平的提高有所帮助。
[Abstract]:"Chengdu International Youcheng Youth Music week", sponsored by Chengdu people's Government, is an important window for Chengdu's foreign exchange, and it also expands Chengdu's influence on the international stage. This practice report is based on the author's participation in Chengdu International Youth Music week 2015 during the summer vacation in 2015 and his practice as an interpreter. The interpreter was a member of Jackson Wales from Tennessee, USA. During Music week, I accompanied Jackson Welsh band members, rehearsals, performances, sightseeing, cultural experience and a series of communication activities. Different from conference interpretation, most of the interpretation activities involved in this activity are liaison interpretation, which is characterized by the daily communication activities, involving a large number of scenes. In addition to the foreign reception nature of the event, interpreters need to pay more attention to the accuracy and appropriateness of the communication interpretation process. According to functionalist Skopos Theory, translation is a purposeful human behavior, the purpose of which is to meet the needs of the target audience, and the purpose of translation determines the translation method. The translator can choose translation skills according to the expected function of the translation. This view coincides with the author's interpretation practice, so the author, on the basis of introducing the process of interpreting practice, combines the relevant theories with the practice of the liaison interpretation, and analyzes the addition translation, the saving translation and the part of speech conversion under the guidance of Skopos theory. The specific application of word order adjustment, division translation, repetition, reverse translation and restatement techniques in this practice. In addition, the report also summarizes the achievements and shortcomings of this practice. While testing the knowledge learned in the textbook with practice, we also learn in practice the details of etiquette and cultural differences that should be paid attention to in liaison interpretation. Although it is not always complete and thorough, it is hoped that this practical report will be helpful to the improvement of the author's interpretation level in the future.
