江苏省中小型民营企业网站英译项目报告

【摘要】:公司网站是展示企业形象的平台,也是海外客户了解公司发展的窗口。因此,高质量的网站翻译在国际贸易中的作用尤为重要。然而,纵观江苏省中小型民营企业英文网站建设情况,不仅存在语法拼写错误、表达中式、内容繁杂、忽略受众需求等语言问题,也有架构、排版等网站建设问题。民营企业在拓展海外市场的同时,需重视企业网站翻译质量,才能为企业进行有效的宣传和推介,实现源语文本的预期目标。笔者于2016年6月参与“江苏省中小型民营企业英文网页优化项目”实践活动,并在此基础上完成本项目报告。实践过程中,项目团队实地走访企业、调研网站翻译情况,并根据企业自身发展特点开展网页翻译实践,切实提升了企业网站的建设情况。基于上述翻译实践,本报告以制造业为视角,归纳了当前民营企业网站翻译存在的主要问题,结合具体案例,从词汇、句子和语篇角度分析了翻译项目的重难点,包括专业术语、企业荣誉、带有文化特色的企业口号等。在功能目的论的指导下,针对以上难点,笔者尝试运用省译、调整原文本结构、建立目的语受众意识等翻译策略,以使译文忠于原文且简洁易懂。笔者希望通过项目报告,帮助江苏省中小型民营企业建设符合国际化标准的英文网站,提升企业形象,也为企业外宣文本的长期研究提供一定参考价值。
[Abstract]:Company website is a platform to display corporate image, but also a window for overseas customers to understand the development of the company. Therefore, the role of high-quality website translation in international trade is particularly important. However, looking at the English website construction of small and medium-sized private enterprises in Jiangsu Province, there are not only some language problems, such as grammatical spelling mistakes, Chinese-style expressions, complicated content, ignoring the needs of the audience, but also the problems of website construction, such as structure, typesetting and so on. At the same time, private enterprises should pay more attention to the translation quality of their websites in order to promote and promote them effectively and realize the expected target of the source language version. In June 2016, the author participated in the practice of "English Page Optimization Project for small and Medium-sized Private Enterprises in Jiangsu Province" and completed the project report on this basis. In the process of practice, the project team visits the enterprise on the spot, investigates the website translation situation, and carries out the web page translation practice according to the characteristics of the enterprise itself, which improves the construction of the enterprise website. Based on the above translation practice, this report summarizes the main problems existing in the translation of private enterprise websites from the perspective of manufacturing industry, and analyzes the major difficulties of translation projects from the perspective of vocabulary, sentence and discourse. Including professional terminology, corporate honor, with cultural characteristics of corporate slogans. Under the guidance of functional Skopos theory, the author tries to use translation strategies such as saving translation, adjusting the structure of the original text, and establishing the audience consciousness of the target language so that the target text can be faithful to the original text and be simple and easy to understand. The author hopes to help small and medium-sized private enterprises in Jiangsu Province to build English websites that meet the international standards through project reports, to enhance the image of enterprises, and to provide a certain reference value for the long-term study of the text of enterprise publicity.
