中国英语学习者way构式编码运动事件的实证研究

【摘要】:不同语言中的独有构式体现了不同族群对世界独特的识解方式,对目的语独有构式的习得是外语学习的重要方面。本文以英语特有的way构式为个案,采用诱导实验法,考察中国英语学习者用way构式对现实运动事件的编码情况。研究发现,受试对运动事件的way构式编码率极低,难以激活产出二语中映射特定运动事件的典型构式;替代构式则选用与母语概念结构和句法表征相近的构式,说明母语在线思维影响二语运动事件的构式编码。本文同时讨论了构式形义激活难度的非对称性。
[Abstract]:The unique constructions in different languages reflect the unique interpretation of the world by different ethnic groups. The acquisition of unique constructions in the target language is an important aspect of foreign language learning. In this paper, a case study of English specific way constructions is conducted to investigate the encoding of real motion events by Chinese EFL learners using way constructions. It was found that the way coding rate of motion events was very low and it was difficult to activate the typical constructions that mapped specific motion events in L2, while the alternative constructions were similar to the conceptual structures and syntactic representations of native language. It is shown that the online thinking of mother tongue affects the construction coding of second language movement events. At the same time, this paper discusses the asymmetry of the difficulty of structure-meaning activation.
