“聆听南亚心声”演讲英汉模拟交传实践报告
[Abstract]:This paper is a practice report, based on the "listen to South Asian voice", a report on the practice of simulated consecutive interpretation. The presentation described health and sanitation for vulnerable groups represented by women, girls, the elderly, the disabled, sanitation workers and transgender people in South Asia. Through this speech, the speaker hopes to have more people understand and help South Asia. At the same time, interpreters hope to pass on speakers' ideas to their listeners through their work so they can learn more about South Asia. Based on the analysis of interpretation quality, this paper analyzes the problems and difficulties in interpreting and puts forward solutions. In the first chapter, the thesis briefly introduces the task of interpreting. The second chapter elaborates the task characteristic and the forecast difficulty. In the third and fourth chapters, the author mainly uses the theory of Gill's interpretation comprehension formula to analyze the problem solving. In the last part, the conclusion is drawn. Although many scholars at home and abroad have done a lot of theoretical research on Daniel Gill's interpretation comprehension formula, the author focuses on the combination of the first formula and practical examples. Taking the first formula of Jill's interpretation formula as the starting point, the author focuses on the analysis of listening comprehension, note-taking and memorizing problems in the process of interpreting and puts forward solutions. At the same time, there are other issues involved in the article, including notebook body, coordination of notes and notes, translation of names and place names, lack of background knowledge, cultural differences, stuttering, note-taking logic, etc. Combining the corresponding theoretical basis for the analysis and put forward solutions to make the argument more reasonable. Finally, the author expounds the importance of pre-translation preparation and daily training, and hopes that this translation report can provide other translators with the inspiration of similar interpreting texts in the future.
