《大数据在现实世界的应用》（第三章）翻译实践报告

【摘要】：随着信息时代的发展,大数据已然成为各领域决策支持和行业发展的基础。本翻译实践报告选自Big Data on Real-World Applications(《大数据在现实世界中的应用》)一书,该书是由Sebastian Ventura Soto,Jose M.Luna和Alberto Cano.编辑,INTECH出版的一本有关大数据应用的书籍。全书共分为四章,而本篇翻译实践报告则选取的是第三章“Introduction to Big Data in Education and Its Contribution to the Quality Improvement Processes”(《教育大数据及其对质量提升过程的贡献》)。本章主要介绍了大数据、分析学以及质量提升的内容以及它们之间的关系,并通过健康教育背景下的大数据应用实例分析教育大数据对质量提升的作用。本翻译实践报告分为四部分,分别是翻译项目背景介绍、翻译项目介绍、翻译项目分析和翻译体会。在翻译实践过程中,长难句及图片内容的翻译是翻译的重点和难点。本翻译实践报告在翻译理论家赖斯(K.Reiss)的文本类型理论的指导下,选用了加注、句序调整等翻译技巧与方法对翻译实践项目中的重难点进行了分析。通过对该文本的翻译,希望能对此类信息文本的翻译起到一定的借鉴作用。
[Abstract]:With the development of information age, big data has become the basis of decision support and industry development in all fields. This translation practice report is selected from Big Data on Real-World Applications ("big data's Application in the Real World"), which is written by Sebastian Ventura Soto,Jose M.Luna and Alberto Cano.. Editor, INTECH published a book about big data's application. The book is divided into four chapters, and the third chapter is "Introduction to Big Data in Education and Its Contribution to the Quality Improvement Processes" (Education big data and its contribution to the process of quality improvement). This chapter mainly introduces big data, the content of analysis and quality improvement, and the relationship between them, and analyzes the effect of educational big data on quality improvement through the actual example of big data under the background of health education. This translation practice report is divided into four parts: background introduction, translation project analysis and translation experience. In the process of translation, the translation of long difficult sentences and pictures is the focus and difficulty. Under the guidance of translation theorist K.Reiss 's text typology theory, the present translation practice report uses translation techniques and methods, such as annotation and sentence order adjustment, to analyze the heavy and difficult points in translation practice projects. Through the translation of this text, it is hoped that it can be used for reference in the translation of this kind of information text.
