《云管理网络解决方案特性描述》英译项目报告

【摘要】：随着国际间科技交流日益频繁,国内越来越多的企业开始走向国际舞台,技术文本汉翻英显得越来越重要,但是由于专业性较强,对翻译水平的要求较高,翻译质量参差不齐,相关的实践分析也有待丰富。笔者希望通过记录和分析在华为公司的翻译实践,总结经验和不足,为其他平行文本的翻译提供参考。本文是一篇翻译项目报告,案例为华为《云管理网络解决方案特性描述》。该文本介绍了云管理网络的功能组件:云网规特性、即插即用特性、云管理安全特性、移动运维APP特性及云巡检特性。笔者在翻译实践中主要面临来自词汇、句子、篇章三个层面的难点:逻辑关系、专业术语、复杂长句和无主句、翻译风格。结合中英文文本的语言差异,在变译理论和技术翻译标准的指导下,笔者总结了以下翻译策略:术语用直译或意译;长难句用合并或拆分;无主句省略主语或译为被动形式;信息罗列采用摘译。笔者还指出尚待解决的问题和今后努力的方向。
[Abstract]:With the increasingly frequent international scientific and technological exchanges, more and more domestic enterprises begin to move to the international stage. The translation of technical texts into English is becoming more and more important. However, due to the strong professionalism, higher requirements for translation skills and uneven translation quality, Relevant practical analysis needs to be enriched. Through recording and analyzing the translation practice in Huawei Company, the author hopes to summarize the experience and shortcomings, and to provide reference for the translation of other parallel texts. This article is a translation project report, the case is Huawei "cloud management network solution feature description". This paper introduces the functional components of cloud management network: cloud network specification feature, plug and play feature, cloud management security feature, mobile operation and maintenance APP characteristic and cloud patrol characteristic. In translation practice, the author mainly faces the difficulties from three levels: logical relations, technical terms, complex long sentences and no subject sentences, and translation style. In the light of the linguistic differences between Chinese and English, the author summarizes the following translation strategies under the guidance of variable translation theory and technical translation criteria: literal or free translation of terms, merging or splitting of long difficult sentences, omission of subject or translation into passive forms; The list of information is summarized and translated. The author also points out the problems to be solved and the direction of future efforts.
