《运用‘预翻译’检测跨国调查问卷中的理解问题》翻译实践报告

【摘要】:此次翻译项目选择的文章《运用‘预翻译’检测跨国调查问卷中的理解问题》系学术论文,取自论文集《翻译与可理解》。该文以ESS(欧洲社会调查)的调查问卷为依托,通过由译员参与的有声思维实验,来阐明预翻译对于提高译本质量的重要作用。因为所选文章的文本类型是信息型文本,其主要要求是忠实地再现事实,传递信息,表达观点,因此在翻译的过程中,笔者以目的原则、忠实原则为指导,运用一系列翻译方法和策略,以期提高翻译质量。所译的论文非常注重可译性,以及译员在翻译过程中对原作的理解,这在平时的翻译理论学习及研究中容易忽视。通过翻译,可以达到指导自身翻译实践,锻炼学术论文翻译能力,传播作品内容,促进学术交流的目的。
[Abstract]:The article selected by this translation project, "using 'pre-translation' to examine the comprehension problems in the transnational questionnaire, is an academic paper taken from the collection of papers, Translation and comprehensibility." Based on the questionnaire of ESS (European Social Survey), this paper illustrates the important role of pre-translation in improving the quality of translation by means of an audible thinking experiment with the participation of interpreters. Because the text type of the selected article is informational text, its main requirement is to faithfully reproduce the facts, convey information and express views. Therefore, in the process of translation, the author is guided by the aim principle and the fidelity principle. A series of translation methods and strategies are used to improve the quality of translation. The translation works focus on translatability and the translator's understanding of the original work, which is easily ignored in the study of translation theory. Through translation, we can guide our own translation practice, exercise the translation ability of academic papers, spread the content of works and promote academic exchange.
