农村蒙古族中学学生英语学习动机衰退影响因素的调查研究

【摘要】:动机在第二语言和外语学习中起着重要的作用。近年来,关于动机的研究如同雨后春笋般涌现出来,国内外的众多专家学者从不同的角度研究了动机。然而,动机的消极的一面-动机衰退几乎被忽略掉,尤其是农村蒙古族中学学生的动机衰退现象。在前三章里作者主要介绍了研究背景,研究目标,研究意义,并且简单的论述了文献综述:国内外研究成果,理论依据等。本研究尝试探索农村蒙古族初中学生的动机衰退情况。本研究提出了三个研究问题:(1)当前农村蒙古族初中学生的英语学习动机现状如何?(2)动机衰退趋势是什么?(3)农村蒙古族初中学生英语学习动机衰退的影响因素是什么?本研究中,为了回答上述的三个研究问题,作者采用了定量与定性研究相结合的混合研究方法,包括课堂观察,两次问卷调查,学生访谈和教师访谈。研究对象是来自于内蒙古自治区通辽市某蒙古族中学八年级的300名学生。为了补充说明通过问卷所获得的研究结果,作者采用了学生访谈和教师访谈。来自八年级年级八个不同班级的15名学生和教八年级的5名教师参与了访谈。通过以上几种研究工具发现:(1)如今在农村蒙古族初中学英语课堂学习当中存在着以下情况:课堂沉默现象;课堂消极行为;课堂活动中表现不积极和不做任何的笔记和记录等。(2)在农村蒙古族中学学生的英语学习当中出现了明显的动机衰退现象。(3)导致农村蒙古族初中学生英语学习动机衰退的主要影响因素有以下几点四点:教材,学生,教师,教学环境和其他方面的因素。在论文的最后一章作者总结了主要的研究成果,介绍了研究的启示,研究的局限性以及对未来研究的展望。
[Abstract]:Motivation plays an important role in second language and foreign language learning. In recent years, researches on motivation have sprung up, and many experts and scholars at home and abroad have studied motivation from different angles. However, the negative side of motivation-the decline of motivation is almost ignored, especially the phenomenon of decline in motivation of rural Mongolian middle school students. In the first three chapters, the author mainly introduces the research background, research objectives, research significance, and briefly discusses the literature review: domestic and foreign research results, theoretical basis and so on. This study attempts to explore the decline of motivation of Mongolian junior middle school students in rural areas. This study raises three questions: (1) what is the current situation of English learning motivation of Mongolian junior middle school students in rural areas? (2) what is the tendency of motivation decline? (3) English learning motivation of Mongolian junior middle school students in rural areas What are the factors affecting the recession? In this study, in order to answer the above three research questions, the author adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods, including classroom observation, two questionnaires, student interviews and teacher interviews. The subjects were 300 students from eighth grade of Mongolian middle school in Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous region. In order to supplement the results obtained by the questionnaire, the author used student interviews and teacher interviews. Fifteen students from eight different classes in the eighth grade and five teachers from the eighth grade participated in the interview. Through the above research tools, we find that: (1) there are the following situations in rural Mongolian junior middle school English learning: classroom silence; classroom negative behavior; (2) in the rural Mongolian middle school students' English learning appeared the obvious motive decline phenomenon. (3) causes the countryside Mongolian junior high school student to study the English. (3) causes the countryside Mongolian junior high school student to learn English in the middle school. (3) causes the countryside Mongolian junior high school student to study in the middle school. The main factors influencing the decline of English learning motivation are as follows: textbooks, Students, teachers, teaching environment and other factors. In the last chapter, the author summarizes the main research results, introduces the inspiration, limitations and prospects for future research.
