【摘要】:科技的发展在人类社会的进步中有着举足轻重的地位,对人类赖以生存的农业和食品的发展也起到了一定促进作用。然而,科技这把"双刃剑"也给人类生活带来了一定的威胁,例如化学药品的不合理使用不仅污染了土壤,同时也污染了下一季作物。就食品安全领域而言,这一切不容乐观,因此人们开始对应用在农业和食品中的科技产生怀疑,甚至抵制。既然如此,如何引导人们正确对待科学技术在食品中的应用?如何正确的利用科学技术?《非天然美食:科技如何助阵超级食品以拯救世界》(出版于2016年)的作者杰森·拉斯克通过讲述一系列有关科技创新的真实故事,为读者呈现一个积极乐观的视角,引领读者客观地认识科技在农业和食品中的作用。本翻译报告是基于约16000字英语文本的翻译实践而形成的,翻译文本节选自美国社会学家杰森·拉斯克的《非天然美食:科技如何助阵超级食品以拯救世界》一书。翻译报告主要由四个章节组成。第一章叙述翻译项目的背景、进行此次翻译项目的目的和意义以及指导此次翻译项目所应用的理论依据。第二章介绍了原文作者,文本的大致内容以及语言特点。第三章是本翻译报告的重点,主要介绍了本次翻译实践的主要过程,包括译者的译前准备,翻译中遇到的主要难点及解决方法,整个翻译实践中使用的主要的翻译技巧,以及翻译后的修正工作。在翻译过程中,译者遵循奈达的功能对等理论,主要采用了转换法、增译法,拆译法和倒置法等翻译技巧。第四章是结论,总结本次翻译实践的经验教训并提出翻译实践中未解决的问题。通过本次翻译实践,译者对科技在食品与农业中的应用有了更多的了解,同时也积累了一些翻译经验。此外,译者希望翻译文本可以帮助中国读者更多地了解科技、农业和食品之间的关系,希望读者能够看到对于转基因等遭到质疑的高新技术的不同观点,因而可以更加客观的解读这些技术。

However, the "double-edged sword" of science and technology has also brought a certain threat to human life. For example, the irrational use of chemicals not only pollutes the soil, but also pollutes the next crop. As far as food safety is concerned, all this is not optimistic, so people are beginning to doubt and even resist the application of technology in agriculture and food. In that case, how to guide people to correctly treat the application of science and technology in food? How to make the right use of Science and Technology? Jason Rask, author of "unnatural Food: how Technology helps Super Food to Save the World" (published in 2016), tells a series of true stories about technological innovation. To present a positive and optimistic perspective for readers, leading readers to objectively understand the role of science and technology in agriculture and food. This translation report is based on translation practices in about 16000 words of English texts excerpted from American sociologist Jason Rask's unnatural Food: how Technology helps Superfood to Save the World. The translation report consists of four chapters. The first chapter describes the background of the translation project, the significance of the translation project and the theoretical basis for guiding the translation project. The second chapter introduces the author of the original text, the general content of the text and language characteristics. Chapter three is the focus of this translation report, which mainly introduces the main process of this translation practice, including the translator's pre-translation preparation, the main difficulties encountered in translation and the solutions, as well as the main translation techniques used in the whole translation practice. And the revised work after translation. In the process of translation, the translator follows Nida's functional equivalence theory and mainly adopts translation techniques such as conversion method, incremental translation method, split translation method and inversion method. Chapter four is the conclusion, summing up the experience and lessons of this translation practice and putting forward the unsolved problems in translation practice. Through this translation practice, translators have gained a better understanding of the application of science and technology in food and agriculture, and accumulated some translation experience. In addition, the translator hopes that the translated text will help Chinese readers understand more about the relationship between technology, agriculture and food. Thus, these techniques can be interpreted more objectively.
