从历史话语分析视角看奥巴马第一任期内《纽约时报》全球变暖话语的可靠性

【摘要】：奥巴马政府在应对全球变暖方面提出了前所未有的倡议,而尽管全球变暖已被证实,该政府仍面临质疑者的巨大阻力。鉴于大众媒体对社会认知具有影响,本文认为有必要了解该时期新闻报导是否具有足够可靠性以改变公众观点和促进政策制定。本文以历史话语分析方法研究《纽约时报》在奥巴马总统第一任期内有关全球变暖的报导,旨在探讨《纽约时报》全球变暖话语的可靠性。通过参考专业性、客观性和社会功能性三项评判标准,本文认为《纽约时报》在该时期的全球变暖话语总体可靠。
[Abstract]:The Obama administration has taken unprecedented initiatives to tackle global warming, and despite the fact that global warming has been confirmed, it still faces enormous resistance from skeptics. In view of the influence of mass media on social cognition, it is necessary to know whether the news reports in this period are reliable enough to change public opinion and promote policy making. This paper uses the method of historical discourse analysis to study the New York Times' report on global warming during President Obama's first term in order to explore the reliability of the New York Times' global warming discourse. By referring to the criteria of professionalism, objectivity and social function, this paper holds that the Global warming discourse of the New York Times in this period is generally reliable.
