目的论视角下都江堰旅游文本汉英翻译研究

【摘要】:旅游文本是在旅游景点使用的,以说明文简单介绍景点基本情况的一种文体。旅游文本是游客了解旅游地景点资源的重要途径,同时也是旅游地进行对外宣传的重要手段。准确恰当的旅游介绍文本可以让游客充分了解到旅游地景点资源的历史文化内涵,使当地文化得以迅速传播,吸引更多国内游客来此观光旅游。而对外国游客而言,准确恰当的旅游景点英译本是其了解景点信息的基础,在一定程度上能够帮助国外游客理解景点所蕴含的文化,因此,高质量的英译本是外国游客了解当地文化的重要方式。然而国内很多著名景点的英译本却始终存在问题,例如拼写和语法错误、选词不当、文化理解错误等。基于上述中所提出的问题,对旅游文本汉英翻译的研究势在必行。本文在目的论的指导下,以都江堰为例,在分析语言特点、历史背景和文化因素的基础上,总结了相应的翻译策略与翻译方法。作者通过定性分析法研究都江堰旅游文本翻译,发现目的论可以很好地指导旅游文本翻译,目的论三原则可以正确的阐释旅游文本翻译实践过程中所采用的翻译方法。本文共分为六个部分,第一部分是前言,主要阐述研究背景、主要目的与意义以及论文框架。第二部分为文献综述,主要介绍旅游文本在国内外的研究与发展以及目的论的应用。第三部分为本文的理论框架。第四部分是对都江堰旅游文本的分析,并在此基础上总结了影响都江堰旅游文本的因素以及其译本存在的问题。第五部分为本文的主体部分,主要从目的论的视角提出了都江堰旅游文本应采取的翻译策略与方法。最后一部分为结论,陈述了主要发现、现有研究的局限性以及研究建议。
[Abstract]:Tourist text is used in tourist attractions to express a simple introduction to the basic conditions of a tourist attraction. Tourist text is not only an important way for tourists to understand tourist attractions resources, but also an important means for tourist destinations to propagate. Accurate and appropriate text of tourist introduction can make tourists fully understand the historical and cultural connotations of tourist attractions resources, make local culture spread rapidly and attract more domestic tourists to come to visit here. For foreign tourists, an accurate and appropriate English translation of tourist attractions is the basis of their understanding of the information of scenic spots, and to a certain extent can help foreign tourists understand the culture contained in the scenic spots. High-quality English translation is an important way for foreign tourists to understand local culture. However, there are still some problems in English translation of many famous scenic spots in China, such as spelling and grammar errors, improper choice of words, cultural understanding and so on. Based on the above questions, it is imperative to study Chinese-English translation of tourist texts. Under the guidance of Skopos Theory and taking Dujiangyan as an example, this paper summarizes the corresponding translation strategies and translation methods based on the analysis of linguistic characteristics, historical background and cultural factors. The author studies tourism text translation in Dujiangyan by qualitative analysis and finds that Skopos theory can guide tourism text translation and Skopos three principles can correctly explain the translation methods used in tourism text translation practice. This paper is divided into six parts, the first part is the preface, mainly describes the research background, the main purpose and significance, and the framework of the paper. The second part is literature review, mainly introduces the research and development of tourism text at home and abroad and the application of Skopos theory. The third part is the theoretical framework of this paper. The fourth part is the analysis of Dujiangyan tourism text, and on this basis summarizes the factors affecting Dujiangyan tourism text and the existing problems in its translation. The fifth part is the main part of this paper, mainly from the perspective of Skopos theory to put forward the translation strategies and methods of Dujiangyan tourism text. The last part is the conclusion, stating the main findings, the limitations of the existing research and the research recommendations.
