《生态语言学：语言、生态和我们赖以生存的故事》（节选）翻译实践报告

【摘要】：近几十年,全球生态环境的恶化得到各个学科人们的普遍关注。对生态问题的研究不再是某个学科的专属领域。生态语言学是生态学与语言学相结合而形成的新兴语言学分支,因此,对外文生态语言学著作的翻译对于理解语言与生态的相互作用具有启发意义。笔者基于《生态语言学:语言、生态和我们赖以生存的故事》的翻译完成本次翻译实践报告。该书于2015年5月8日由英国跨国出版商路透社出版。在本报告中,笔者从报告背景,任务描述,过程介绍,案例分析和报告总结五个部分对任务进行准确描述。由于中英两种语言和文化上的差异,翻译过程中需要深思熟虑,笔者以目的论为指导,遵循目的原则,连贯原则和忠实原则,以译文功能为取向,注重翻译的实用性。同时采取一些翻译策略,确保译文的质量。笔者希望此译本能有助于生态语言学理念在国内的学习和研究,为生态语言学在国内的进一步发展作出贡献。通过此次翻译实践报告,笔者的收获在于以下几方面:其一,生态语言学书籍有其独特的文本特征,语言抽象,概念深刻,分析性强且包含大量实例分析;其二,影响生态语言学文本翻译效果的主要因素除充实的理论知识和较强的逻辑思维能力外,译者还需要较强的双语能力。
[Abstract]:In recent decades, the deterioration of the global ecological environment has received widespread concern in various disciplines. The study of ecological problems is no longer the exclusive domain of a subject. Ecolinguistics is a new branch of linguistics formed by the combination of ecology and linguistics. Therefore, the translation of foreign ecolinguistic works is instructive to understand the interaction between language and ecology. This translation practice report is based on the translation of Eco-Linguistics: language, Ecology and the stories on which we live. The book was published by British multinational publisher Reuters on May 8, 2015. In this report, the author describes the task accurately from five parts: reporting background, task description, process introduction, case analysis and report summary. Due to the differences between Chinese and English in both languages and cultures, there is a need for careful consideration in the process of translation. The author takes Skopos Theory as the guide, follows the principles of purpose, coherence and faithfulness, takes the function of translation as the orientation, and pays attention to the practicality of translation. At the same time, some translation strategies are adopted to ensure the quality of the translation. The author hopes that this translation will contribute to the study and research of ecolinguistic concepts in China and contribute to the further development of ecolinguistics in China. Through this translation practice report, the author gains in the following aspects: first, ecolinguistic books have their unique textual characteristics, linguistic abstractions, profound concepts, strong analysis and a large number of examples; Secondly, the main factors affecting the translation effect of ecolinguistic texts are not only the abundant theoretical knowledge and the strong logical thinking ability, but also the translator's strong bilingual ability.
