英汉专利翻译实践报告

【摘要】：笔者在实习工作期间做了一些英译汉的专利翻译,深感收获颇多。本实践报告就介绍笔者对一篇专利文献的翻译经过,并针对翻译实践过程中出现的问题以及采取的相应对策与解决方案进行具体分析,同时总结自己对专利翻译的认识。本实践报告共分五章。在第一章中,笔者首先简单介绍了文本内容,然后对文本的性质、特点及翻译要求进行了分析。第二章描述了翻译的整个过程,包括译前准备和实际翻译过程,并对实践过程中遇到的难点进行了分析。第三章对译前准备进行了详细的描述,包括翻译之前所需的硬件设备、资料文本以及对将要运用到的翻译手法进行了整理总结。第四章是全文的重点,笔者从译文中选取了一些实例进行分析,找出问题与难点所在,并从翻译原则、技巧等方面提出了相应对策。首先对专利翻译的基本规则进行了探讨,包括对标题、摘要,权利要求这些具有代表性的主体的翻译进行了分析;其次对专利文本词汇的运用就行了详细的分析;接着对专利文本复杂长句进行了着重探讨,主要讨论了顺译法和拆分译法这两种翻译方法;最后,笔者归纳了一些常见错误及其校正方法。最后笔者对此次翻译实践进行了总结,强调了专利翻译对译者的基本要求。通过本次翻译实践,笔者受益良多,不仅对专利翻译有了专业性的理解,同时也提高了自己的翻译水平。
[Abstract]:I have done some patent translation in English and Chinese during my internship, and I feel that I have gained a lot. This practice report introduces the translation process of a patent document and analyzes the problems in the translation practice and the corresponding countermeasures and solutions. At the same time, the author summarizes his own understanding of patent translation. The practice report is divided into five chapters. In the first chapter, the author first introduces the content of the text, and then analyzes the nature, characteristics and translation requirements of the text. The second chapter describes the whole process of translation, including pre-translation preparation and practical translation process, and analyzes the difficulties encountered in the practical process. The third chapter gives a detailed description of the pre-translation preparation, including the hardware equipment required before translation, the data text and the translation techniques to be used. The fourth chapter is the focus of the full text, the author selects some examples from the translation to analyze, find out the problems and difficulties, and from the translation principles, skills and other aspects of the corresponding countermeasures. Firstly, the basic rules of patent translation are discussed, including the translation of titles, abstracts and claims, secondly, the usage of the vocabulary of patent texts is analyzed in detail. Then the author discusses the complex long sentences of patent text, mainly discusses the translation methods of cis-translation and split-translation. Finally, the author sums up some common errors and their correction methods. Finally, the author summarizes the translation practice and emphasizes the basic requirements of patent translation for the translator. Through this translation practice, the author not only has a professional understanding of patent translation, but also improves his own translation level.
