《2016年世界就业和社会展望》汉译项目报告

【摘要】：World Employment and Social Outlook 2016选自国际劳工组织官网,是国际劳工组织发布的一篇国际性报告。该报告是通过对103个国家家庭调查而得出的深入系统的调查结果,总结了不同国家就业状况、贫困状况及其原因以及为消除贫困采取的措施,旨在为各国消除贫困提供指导和建议,从而在全世界范围内实现消除贫困的目标。该项目包含两大部分,译者选取了第一大部分的二、三节进行翻译。在对项目背景、结构和文本特征分析的基础上,译者总结了在汉译项目中遇到的重点和难点,其中包括词汇、句法以及倍数的翻译,并结合翻译目的论和功能对等理论解决翻译中遇到的问题。首先,对于源语文本中存在的大量有关就业和贫困等方面的专业术语和固定词组,译者参照目的论,在解决术语和词组翻译难点时,采用增词法、替换法和参照平行文本法。其次,为了把文本中复杂句的逻辑和意思清楚地表达出来,译者依据功能对等理论,运用划分重组法和排序转换法加以处理。第三,数据的大量使用也是原语文本的一大特色,其中包括倍数的重复使用。倍数在传达准确的信息中发挥至关重要的作用,译者在倍数翻译过程中采取了分数转换法。最后,译者对翻译项目作了总结,并提出了改进措施。
