关联理论指导下网站旅游文本英译汉翻译实践报告

对于不懂英语的中国人来说,将英语旅游网站上的文章译为汉语能够帮助他们获取更多出国旅游咨询。本翻译实践报告的翻译材料共有55篇文章,取自加拿大旅游网站“旅游胜地(Well Known Places)”。网站旅游文本信息量大、语言精炼、风格独特,兼具信息型、呼吁型和表达型文本的功能,翻译难点主要来自以下三个方面:词汇层面的专有名词和文化负载词翻译;句法层面的祈使句和名词化结构翻译;语篇层面的衔接和连贯。关联理论认为翻译包含双重明示-推理过程,而译者的任务是使原文作者的目的与目标读者的认知语境达到最佳关联。因此,以最佳关联为目标,译者从增强语境效果和减少处理努力两个角度选取翻译方法克服上述翻译困难。在增强语境效果方面,为了帮助目标读者推出语境蕴涵、加强和证实已有假设,译者采用意译法和增译法;为了消除目标读者的矛盾或错误假设,采用意译法。在减少处理努力方面,词汇层面针对专有名词,采用约定俗成、直译加注法和增译法,针对文化负载词,采用直译或音译加注法和释义法;句法层面针对祈使句采用增译法,针对名词化结构,采用转换法。译者期望本篇实践报告能为英语旅游网站文本的汉译提供参考。
