英语语篇间接回指的认知转喻研究

  回指是语言学领域的一个经典话题。回指是用一个词或短语来代替语篇上文或对话里提到的另一个词或短语的现象,它是重要的语篇衔接手段,看似普遍、简单,实则复杂。但前人的研究多集中于直接回指,对间接回指现象少有关注,并且鲜有学者采用有效的认知转喻模型来分析语篇中的间接回指。本研究的重点是基于理想认知模型理论,概念突显理论以及语篇转喻模型理论建立一个研究间接回指的认知转喻模型,并用该模型对具有代表性的间接回指案例进行例证和分析。以此来帮助人们更好地理解间接回指中先行词与回指语的关系,进而更好地理解英语语篇。本研究主要分析探讨以下两个研究问题:问题1:名词性间接、代词性间接回指和零形回指的认知转喻模型是什么?问题2:认知转喻模型对名词性间接、代词性间接回指和零形回指解释性的表现是什么?本文通过定性研究,以国内外语言学家以及学者在出版的书籍或刊物上发表的关于间接回指的例句为语料,运用自建的认知转喻模型对名词间接回指,代词间接回指以及零形回指进行分析,最后得出以下结论:认知转喻模型以理想化认知模型、概念突显理论和语篇转喻模型理论为基础,三者的结合构成的认知转喻模型能很好地阐释间接回指现象。本研究语料中的...
