国家形象视阈下政治术语翻译策略及传播效果研究

  随着我国综合国力和国际影响力的进一步提高,国家形象,作为国际竞争重要组成部分,被提到了战略性高度。中国的政治历来是外界关注的一个焦点,政府通过政治文献和言辞来阐明政策,表达政治立场和观点,展示各个侧面国家形象。中国政治术语是中央政治文献或党和政府在处理内政外交等活动中所形成的具有特定形式、特定含义并富有中国特色的概念和表述。其翻译更是担任着反映我国国情和社会发展状态、促进国际交往与合作、传播国家良好形象的重要使命。由于政治术语的独特性,其翻译的质量不仅影响中国观点内涵的准确表达和对外传播,读者的接受与认同,更关乎积极正面国家形象的建构与传播。目前我国政治术语翻译研究多采用个案分析从各种翻译理论角度研究翻译问题及其策略。本文主要运用国家形象理论和拉斯韦尔的传播理论,强调了国家形象和受众在对外交流中的重要作用,认为受众会根据自身文化背景和语言习惯接受与其认知相近的形象。国家形象传播,主要探讨一个国家政治精英和公众对他国的印象,包括五大要素,传播者,内容,媒介,受众和传播效果,而翻译本质上是一种传播活动,包括译者,原文,译文,读者和受众接受;政治术语翻译活动的传播者归根结底就是翻译的主体,传...
