《翻译改变一切：理论与实践》第一章翻译实践报告

　　本次翻译实践选自劳伦斯·韦努蒂编写的《翻译改变一切:理论与实践》。此书是一部翻译研究论文集,是作者2000年以来发表的十四篇关于翻译研究的学术论文,具有专业词汇多、句式结构复杂、语言严谨的特点。全书共十四章,本人承担的翻译内容是第一章“翻译、社区、乌托邦”。根据纽马克的文本类型理论,此文本主要属于信息型文本,中间夹杂着小部分表达型文本。由于此文本旨在传递信息,反映客观事实,翻译时既要忠实于原文,又要考虑受众的接受程度,故本次翻译实践采用了尤金·奈达的功能对等理论以及交际翻译为主、语义翻译为辅的翻译策略,并从词汇层面、句子层面、文化层面以及文体层面进行了案例分析,探讨了具体的翻译技巧,以使译文达到功能对等的效果。最后,本报告对此次翻译实践做出总结,分析了问题与教训,分享了收获与启示,这有助于本人对翻译的本质形成更加清晰而深刻的认识,并提升翻译技能,为今后的翻译实践打下坚实的基础。
