巴拉克·奥巴马和唐纳德·特朗普每周电台演讲中元话语使用的对比研究

美国总统的每周电台演讲是美国历任总统每周的例行英语演讲,是美国总统亲自针对国家时事发表的一种演讲,其兼具正式书面语与口语的特点。巴拉克·奥巴马和唐纳德·特朗普都是美国的总统,他们在各种场合的演讲都受到了国内外学者的广泛关注,两位总统的演讲风格存在很大的差异,目前已有不少学者从语用预设,批评话语分析,系统功能语法等角度对两位总统的演讲进行过研究。虽然元话语自提出以来就受到许多语言学家的关注,但从元话语的角度对奥巴马和特朗普演讲进行的相关研究相对较少,并且至今还没有学者对这两位总统的演讲从元话语的视角进行过对比。本研究采用Hyland关于元话语的理论框架及分类模式,对比分析了美国总统奥巴马和特朗普每周电台演讲中元话语的使用情况。旨在回答两个问题:第一,奥巴马和特朗普每周电台演讲中元话语的使用频如何?第二,奥巴马和特朗普每周电台演讲中的元话语使用有什么相同点和不同点?为了实现研究目标,本研究选取了60篇奥巴马和特朗普每周电台演讲稿建立了两个语料库,语料库1包括2016-2017年30篇奥巴马每周电台演讲（共计16788词）,语料库2包括了2017年30篇特朗普每周电台演讲（共计16316词）...
