英语口语中道歉言语行为使用特征的社会语言学研究

　　道歉在本质上是一种补救性实施行为,也是一种注重听话人面子需要的礼貌性行为。道歉的基本功能是对冒犯的行为提供补救措施,恢复交际双方的和谐关系。作为维护人际关系和恢复社会平衡的重要手段,一直受到国内外学者的广泛关注。近些年来,随着道歉言语行为成为变异研究的一个关注点,因而社会语言学领域的道歉言语行为变异研究也日益丰盈。以往学者大多倾向于研究性别差异对道歉语使用的影响,而在多种社会变量共同作用下的道歉语的变异使用特征研究亟需加强。本研究基于BNC64语料库中的真实语料,将William Labov（1984）的变异理论与Brown&Levinson（1987）的礼貌原则相结合。采取卡方独立性检验的研究工具将定量与定性研究方法相结合分别研究八个道歉表达方式（I’m sorry,oh sorry,excuse me,I’m afraid,pardon me,I apologize,my fault,I beg your pardon）,目的在于探讨在三个社会变量年龄、性别、社会阶层影响下,英语口语中的道歉言语行为的变异特征。具体的研究问题如下:（1）英语口语中在性别、年龄、社会阶层影响下...
