写长法在初中英语写作教学中的应用研究

【摘要】：作为英语的基本技能之一,英语写作一直是初中英语教学中的薄弱环节。针对这一问题,写长法作为一种新型的英语写作教学法被提出。该方法要求学生在教师的积极引导下,以自身的兴趣为出发点进行写作。教师则需要在该方法的运用下,不断地调整写作要求,逐渐增加写作词汇量,并鼓励学生尽他们所能地写长作文,最终,通过增加学生的成就感与写作信心使学生的英语写作能力得到提升。写长法一经提出,便吸引了许多学者的注意力,他们已经将该方法成功地应用于大学英语写作教学、高职英语写作教学和高中英语写作教学中,并得到令人满意的结果。然而,人们却忽视了写长法在初中英语写作教学中的应用。因此,吸取前人的研究经验,本研究试图将写长法应用在初中英语写作教学中,并试图回答以下两个问题:1、初中生会对写长法持有积极的态度吗?2、写长法会帮助提高初中生的英语写作能力吗?本实验选取80名初中生作为研究对象。这些学生来自邢台市第三中学初二年级的两个平行班,且每班有40名学生。该实验共进行一个学期。在教学期间,控制班仍然使用之前的传统英语写作教学法进行教学,实验班则采用写长法进行教学。为了回答所提出的问题,该研究采用调查问卷、英语写作测试及访谈的研究方法,并且研究结果令人满意。一方面,对调查问卷和访谈的分析结果表明了初中生能够对写长法持有积极的态度;另一方面,对英语写作测试的分析结果说明了经过写长法的训练,实验班学生的英语写作能力有了明显提升。由此,写长法被证明是一种有效的初中英语写作教学方法。
