BBC环境保护新闻报道（2017-2019）的多模态批评性语篇分析

本研究以Hart提出的语言与视觉表征理论为理论框架,对BBC环境保护新闻报道进行多模态批评性语篇分析。通过分析BBC环境保护新闻报道如何表征环境保护主义者的身份及其社会行为、污染者的神秘化,探讨新闻报道的真正意图。本文旨在改进人们对新闻报道的理解并提升其批评意识。本文主要运用语言和视觉表征理论中的社会行为者分析、及物性分析、神秘化分析进行语料分析。本文在BBC新闻官方网站上搜集了自2017年1月1日至2019年12月31日的89篇环境保护新闻报道,从中筛选出至少含有三幅图片且有相关文字表述的新闻报道共51篇作为本文的研究对象。本文旨在回答以下三个研究问题:（1）环境保护主义者的身份在BBC环境保护新闻报道中是如何被表征的?（2）环境保护主义者的社会行为在语料中是如何被表征的?（3）污染者的神秘化在语料中是如何被表征的?研究发现如下:（1）BBC环境保护新闻报道将热心环境保护的民众描述为环境保护团体,关注该团体在环境保护中的作用。对于环境保护领域的专业人士,相关报道突出其在环境保护中起到的作用。（2）及物性分析有助于表征环境保护主义者的社会行为。物质过程展示了环境保护主义者的环保行为。关...
