中国英语专业学习者二语写作多特征多维度的历时研究

二语写作不仅是困扰中国英语学习者的一大难题,也是应用语言学领域长期关注的焦点。以往研究常常以写作文本为切入点,或是横向对比中国学习者和本族语学生的语言特征,或是纵向比较显性教学干预前后的学生写作质量。然而,鲜有研究追踪中国外语教育不同阶段英语学习者的二语写作语言变化。这一变化一方面能够反映出处于不同时代的中国外语学习者的语言水平,而且有助于揭示中国外语高等教育改革和教学手段对学生二语写作能力的反哺影响。本研究选取中国英语学习者英语笔语语料库(WECCL)和中国学生万篇英语作文语料库(TECCL)为语料对象,两个语料库分别建于2000年初和2015年,能够代表横跨15年的两代英语学习者。研究采用Biber(1988)的多维度分析(Multidimensional Analysis,MDA)方法,对上述不同年代的中国英语专业学生二语写作文本进行多维度对比分析,旨在揭示不同阶段的中国英语专业学习者在语篇、句法和词汇上的特点并发掘变化趋势。本研究尝试回答以下三个问题:1.两个不同时代的学生在二语写作上各呈现什么特点?2.两个不同时代的学生在多维度因素方面表现出哪些相同点与不同点?3.中国英语专...
