法庭口译中的译员表现研究：修辞学劝说模式的视角

　　本文主要研究法庭口译场域下交替传译的译员表现。学界对法庭口译的研究主要集中于译员角色、法庭口译规范、法庭译员培训等,本文拟引入一个新的视角,即西方修辞学中的劝说模式。庭审过程中讲者如何增强自己的可信度、如何说服对方至关重要,直接影响审判结果,因此若在庭审过程中采用修辞学中与说服模式相关的修辞手法,就能增强讲者话语的可信度与感染力。在双语法庭中,对包含修辞手法的话语翻译非常关键,但这一部分话语中的修辞手法通常会给口译员带来各种翻译困难。学界对说服模式在法庭场域使用的学术研究并不多,因此笔者希望通过基于语料库的研究,探究法庭口译中以下三个问题:一、庭审过程中译员在翻译涉及修辞手法的话语时表现如何?二、译员使用了哪些翻译技巧来处理法庭话语中采用的修辞手法?三、译员为什么要使用这些翻译技巧?本研究的假设为在法庭口译场域下,当事人、律师、公诉人等讲话人会通过言语交锋,使用修辞手法以达到增强话语说服力和可信度的效果,但口译员没有完全翻译出修辞手法所传达的真正意义。研究结果表明修辞学中的三种说服模式可用来研究庭审口译中的译员表现;庭审译员通常在遇到修辞话语时会采取精简、解释、增译、概括等翻译技巧,但...
