公共场合下他人职业身份重塑的语用学研究

人际尊重的概念在语用学领域广为应用却几乎没有专门的研究。尊重与身份息息相关,从身份构建角度出发可以为人际尊重研究提供更多的思考。鉴于此,本研究尝试从人际尊重出发,分析公共场合下的他人职业身份重塑。基于来自电视节目《你会怎么做》的24个语料,本研究旨在探讨旁观者如何回应过错方的不尊重行为,以重塑受害者的职业身份(包括职业角色和职业能力)。根据语料所呈现的干预者关于尊重的元语用话语,本研究将人际尊重界定为一种道德秩序,关乎对他人职业身份的价值认可。尊重的道德秩序包括两个核心内涵,分别是平等和宽容。换言之,在公共场合下,遵守尊重的道德秩序,要求满足平等和宽容两个内涵。平等指的是对他人的职业角色一视同仁。宽容指的是接受他人目前的失败表现,并期待他人工作能力的的变化和发展。为此,本研究以尊重的道德秩序和身份构建模型(Bucholtz and Hall 2005)为理论依据,致力于回答以下三个研究问题:(1)过错方如何不尊重受害者的职业身份?(2)干预者如何应对这些过错行为,以重塑受害者的职业身份?(3)为什么干预者会对这些过错行为做出反应?通过对三个研究问题的讨论,本研究得出了以下结论。第一,根...
