评价理论视角下汉英政治演讲语篇的评价资源对比研究

  语言的评价系统是系统功能语言学的一个延伸和发展,是进行话语分析研究、实现人际意义的重要手段。评价理论在语篇语义学层面进行人际意义的表达,包含态度系统、介入系统和级差系统。政治演讲是演讲者在政治活动中用来表明政治立场、宣传政治主张、影响民众的一种公众演讲。在国内外的政治活动中,政治演讲发挥着重要的作用。然而,由于不同国家在文化、价值观、政治立场等方面有差异,政治演讲中的评价资源在语篇语义学层面上的人际意义也有所不同。以往的学者研究主要集中在语言策略、批判性话语分析和认知的角度,以评价理论为理论框架来研究政治演讲尚为数不多,借助广泛语料的汉英语篇的对比分析更少。本研究采用定性和定量相结合的研究方法,以国家高级领导人的中英政治演讲语篇为语料,以评价理论为框架,探究中英两种语料中的评价资源使用的差异。本研究主要解决以下问题:1.汉英政治演讲在评价资源的使用上有什么差异?2.汉英政治演讲中产生上述使用差异的原因有哪些?研究结果表明,在评价理论的三个子系统中,汉英政治演讲中态度资源使用频率都最高。在态度子系统中,汉语政治演讲更多使用情感资源,而英语政治演讲更多使用判断资源。在介入子系统中,英语政治...
