计算机通信类专利摘要英译实践报告

　　知识经济时代下,社会对专利信息服务的需求量在持续不断地增长。为向国外传递中国最新专利信息,专利文件汉译英的工作量更是急剧增加。专利文献是一种非常重要的技术资料,既具有科学性,又是一种具有法律效力的文件,专利摘要是专利说明书的提要,译者如何把握其翻译使译文读者产生和原文读者相似的反应尤为重要。本报告结合笔者在中信翻译有限公司专利汉英翻译的实习经历,详细介绍了本翻译项目的背景、目的、任务过程和案例分析。本文以交际翻译理论为视角对专利摘要英译展开研究。在案例分析部分,笔者结合纽马克的交际翻译理论,从词汇层面和句法层面进行分析研究。笔者认为,在翻译通信专利的过程中,要充分考虑译文的功能和目的,注意文本的词汇和句法特征,并正确选择专利翻译中应采取的翻译方法,比如注意复合关系副词、术语、长难句的理解、逻辑表达等。笔者希望本篇报告能够为专利译员提供一定的借鉴,并在一定程度上为国内的通信专利翻译的发展带来帮助。
