基于语料库的中美银行业致股东信隐喻对比研究

作为年报中最为广泛阅读的部分,致股东信对于投资决策的影响不容小觑。本文通过对比中美银行企业致股东信中的语言隐喻及概念隐喻,探究其建构企业身份的异同。主要研究问题如下:(1)建构中美银行企业致股东信主要关注点的语言隐喻及概念隐喻各有哪些?(2)这些隐喻表达了怎样的立场?(3)这些隐喻揭示了中美银行企业怎样的企业身份?(4)其异同原因有哪些?为了回答上述研究问题,本文收集了89封中美银行企业致股东信,借助第四代网络语料库工具Wmatrix进行数据分析,并结合概念隐喻理论、立场三角理论等进行中美银行企业致股东信对比分析。研究发现:(1)中美银行企业致股东信共享12个概念隐喻,包括生物体隐喻、移动与方向隐喻、建筑隐喻以及战争隐喻等;中国银行企业致股东信主导隐喻为移动与方向隐喻、生物体隐喻和建筑隐喻,美国为生物体隐喻、移动与方向隐喻以及游戏与运动隐喻;两者虽共享大部分概念隐喻,其语言隐喻的分布却不尽相同。(2)通过这些隐喻,中美银行企业对企业自身、企业经济活动以及利益相关者,特别是其股东,采取积极立场;中国银行企业致股东信中较少出现消极立场,而美国银行企业致股东信中存在较多负面立场,其目的多为于...
