释意论视角下TED教育主题演讲模拟交替传译实践报告

  在我国“一带一路”和“扩大开放”的政策引领下,中外文化交流与合作不断加强,国际性交流平台的作用愈加凸显。作为风靡全球的思想传播平台,TED大会越来越受到语言研究者的关注。尤其近年来,针对它的讨论不断增多。然而,作为TED大会重要的组成部分,教育类演讲得到的讨论和研究却相对较少。释意论是比较成熟的口译理论,受到世界各地学者们的广泛关注。在教育类演讲的翻译中,对该理论的应用研究较少。本翻译报告的模拟口译实践采用的是交替传译的形式。材料选取的是英国著名教育家Ken Robinson在TED大会上的三个演讲:《学校扼杀创造力吗》《如何逃出教育的死亡谷》和《展开学习革命》。通过对Ken Robinson演讲的模拟口译,笔者主要发现和解决的口译难题是表义不明问题、逻辑性处理问题和幽默语汉译问题。为了解决这些问题,笔者深入分析了释意论的三角模型,主要包括:源语听辨理解、脱离语言外壳和重新表达。这一模型强调的是将语言外壳打碎,译者需根据受众的文化和语言习惯将译文输出得更自然。笔者运用释意论三角模型,总结了教育类演讲英译汉口译的临场处理方法,主要包括省译法、增译法、转换语态法、顺译法、调整法、重组法、脱离...
