中国特色政治术语英译原则研究 ——以《习近平谈治国理政》英译本为例

国家领导人话语是一个国家政策、制度、态度和发展方向的缩影,而习近平治国理政话语是外界深入了解中国的重要窗口。作为治国理政话语载体,《习近平谈治国理政》一书精选了习近平在各个场合的重要讲话,其英译本在海外的出版、发行与传播影响广泛,并取得良好传播效果,这对于汉英外宣翻译具有重要借鉴作用。鉴于习近平话语中含有很多具有中国特色的政治术语表达,且这些术语的英译会对海外受众的接受产生重要影响,因此中国特色政治术语的英译研究具有高度重要性。通过对已掌握的国内外文献的分析,我们发现,研究人员多从各理论视角来研究《习近平谈治国理政》的翻译策略,但针对中国特色政治术语进行的英译原则研究有待进一步的挖掘和丰富。本文以《习近平谈治国理政》英译本为研究对象,以政治翻译理论原则为指导,对中国特色政治术语的翻译进行研究,以期对中国特色政治术语的翻译提供一些翻译原则。本文首先对中国近20年来政治翻译理论进行梳理、分析和总结,然后结合中国特色政治术语的特点提出了三条翻译原则,即政治忠诚、意义等效和话语导向。继而立足《习近平谈治国理政》中大量的译例进行分析、说明和解释,论证得出这三个原则可以用来指导中国特色政治术语英译,...
