同声传译中顺句驱动原则的研究

【摘要】：顺句驱动原则被认为是同传中的黄金准则,当中的“切分”技巧又是同传中最常被应用的技巧。本文运用丹尼尔·吉尔提出的认知负荷模型,研究顺句驱动原则的三种最常用的操作手法,’即切分技巧、增补技巧和转化技巧,来探索顺句驱动原则的特点和优点。本文通过研究三篇实战同传语料,包括英译汉和汉译英,来验证顺句驱动原则的相关发现。最后,本文得出结论：顺句驱动原则被广泛运用于英汉和汉英同传中,这主要是由同传的本质要求和译员的精力有限造成韵。在同声传译中,译员往往会综合运用切分技巧、增补技巧和转化技巧。实践证明,顺句驱动可以极大地提高译文的质量,即通过将原文的长句切分成意群,译员可以缩短EVS,减轻短期记忆负担,保证信息的准确和完整;通过增补技巧和转换技巧,译员可以将切割后破碎的句子连接在一起,形成流畅、连贯的译文。本文还发现,不同的语言模式对于顺句驱动原则的应用也有影响。
