变译理论中阐译法在软新闻汉译中的应用

【摘要】：随着社会经济的发展,新闻媒体和信息传播速度日益加快,尤其是在网络媒体的兴起的大环境下,软新闻逐渐成为国内外新媒体的主流。伴随着知识经济时代的到来,软新闻逐渐成为人们接受信息的主要渠道。因此软新闻翻译的重要性也日益凸显。因此笔者选择The Economist杂志中Companies and the State一文为翻译实践语料。翻译实践报告主要由四部分组成,分别是任务描述、任务过程、案例分析和实践总结。笔者认为任何翻译都是以满足读者需求为最终目的,软新闻的翻译也是如此。至于翻译过程中所采用的翻译策略或翻译方法也是以满足彼时彼地读者需求为目的。为满足读者需求,作为译者在翻译时应该需要采用变通手段。本次翻译实践报告的语料是知识性与欣赏性并存的长篇财经类英语软新闻。当所谓的知识性与欣赏性遭遇文化背景与知识领域差异的尴尬时,一板一眼翻译全文可能会难以达到满足读者需求的目的,而此时若在翻译专业性较强的内容过程中进行变译加入一定的阐释可能更加能够适应读者的需求和接受能力,从而达到翻译的目的。因此笔者选取了黄忠廉教授的变译理论中的阐译法作为本篇翻译的理论基础。以此次翻译实践材料的长篇财经类英语软新闻为例,其包含大量财经类专业术语,文化差异等导致的理解难点,因此,翻译具有一定难度。本文将选取软新闻翻译作为研究对象,具体涉及的是长篇财经类英语软新闻,主要将针对翻译过程中遇到的难点,结合变译理论中的阐译法进行分析和解决。
