关于对外汉语教材生词英文注释的研究

【摘要】:“汉语口语速成系列教材”是北京语言大学专门为短期汉语学习者而编写出版的系列性对外汉语教材,本文以其入门篇、基础篇和提高篇为研究范围,对其生词表的英文注释进行逐条分析,归纳总结后发现该套教材的注释存在以下八类问题:注释过于简略,缺乏必要的限定,导致与被注释词意义不完全对应;注释与被注释词的意义在课文语境中有距离,释义不准确,缺乏针对性;注释超出课文语境里所表达的意思范围;注释的词性不同于生词表中标出的或课文中所体现出来的词性;量词的注释没能清楚地界定其适用对象和范围;注释忽视了汉英词语用法不同而造成的差异;注释没有正确体现被注释词语的感情色彩;注释不能很好地体现被注释词语的文化内涵。 针对以上问题展开分析,笔者就对外汉语教材生词英文注释提出了一些建议。形式上,注释可以采用“英汉双语”,特别是基础篇和提高篇,对于可以用已经学过的汉语词汇来注释的生词,不建议仍用英文注释;在注释内容上,注释不能脱离课文语境,也不能过于简略,要引起对词性标注和个别词类的重视,除此之外,还要在注释的细微之处突出词语的文化内涵、感情色彩以及汉英词语用法差异。
[Abstract]:The accelerated Chinese spoken Chinese textbook series is a series of foreign language textbooks compiled and published by Beijing language and language University for short-term Chinese learners. This paper analyzes the English annotation of the new words table one by one, and finds that there are eight kinds of problems in the annotation of the textbook: the annotation is too simple and lacks the necessary qualification, which leads to the meaning of the annotated words not completely corresponding to that of the annotated word; The meaning of the annotated words is different from that of the annotated words in the text context, the interpretation is inaccurate and lacks pertinence, and the annotation is beyond the scope of the meaning expressed in the text context. The annotated parts of speech are different from those marked in the new words table or embodied in the text; the annotation of the classifier fails to clearly define the object and scope of its application; the annotation ignores the differences caused by the different usage of Chinese and English words and phrases; The annotation does not reflect the emotional color of the annotated words correctly, and the annotated words can not well reflect the cultural connotation of the annotated words. In view of the above problems, the author puts forward some suggestions on the English annotation of new words in TCFL textbooks. In form, notes can be "English-Chinese", especially in basic and improved texts. For new words that can be annotated with Chinese vocabulary learned, it is not recommended to use English for annotation. In the context of the text, the annotation should not be divorced from the context of the text. We should not be too brief, we should pay attention to the tagging of parts of speech and individual parts of speech, in addition, we should highlight the cultural connotation, emotional color and differences in usage of Chinese and English words in the nuances of the notes.
