【摘要】：按照韩礼德的功能语法理论,主位指的是小句的“出发点”,述位则指的是小句剩余的部分。新闻讲究前后内容的衔接,因此主位-述位推进在其写作和翻译中具有重要地位。针对新闻写作,报道和社论两类文体都有较多的研究关注了主位-述位推进问题,但对新闻翻译,尤其是报道类新闻的翻译,这方面的研究还比较缺乏。本文所考察的是英汉财经新闻报道翻译中的主位-述位推进模式,旨在发现该文体的中文译文和英文原文有哪些异同,以及中文译文对英文原文的偏离在多大程度上是受到两种语言写作偏好的影响。为解决这些疑问,本文采取了基于语料库的研究方法,所建库包括英文原文文本、中文翻译文本和中文可比文本三部分,语篇全部选自中英报刊上有关中国经济的新闻报道。根据丹尼斯的主位-述位推进模式分类方法以及后续研究在此基础上的修改,本文标注了16种推进模式,并对各个模式出现的次数和频率进行了量化分析。分析发现,虽然翻译文本的推进模式和英文原文相差较多并与中文可比文本更加接近,但前两者的差异并不都是译入语规范影响的结果。数据显示,英汉语言差异能否解释原文和译文的差异,取决于各个推进模式的复杂程度。对于简单的推进模式,语言差异的影响确实存在；对于复杂的推进模式,这种影响则不明显。
