视频公开课《正念》字幕英译汉翻译实践报告

【摘要】：近年来,越来越多的国外视频公开课被译介到国内。视频公开课是一种引进先进知识的良好途径,因而吸引了不少青年学生、相当数量的知识分子以及众多的普通观众,但这些非常宝贵的视频资源却没有得到很好的翻译。视频公开课字幕翻译有其自身的特殊性,国内外虽然有很多关于字幕翻译的研究,但大多是对影视字幕翻译的研究,而针对视频公开课文本的翻译探索研究并不多。本实践报告是以视频公开课《正念》(Mindfulness)的字幕文本的翻译作为研究对象,总结了视频公开课字幕的文本特点,通过对项目翻译过程和译文案例的分析,探讨了视频公开课字幕翻译应遵循的原则,并针对翻译过程中遇到的具体问题提出相应的解决方法。重点探讨在目的论的指导下,如何采用合适的翻译方法(比如直译法、缩减法、增译法、分切法、逆译法等)使译文既忠实地反映原文信息,又符合字幕翻译特殊的格式要求。通过对此次翻译实践过程进行总结和反思,笔者希望自己的经验能为视频公开课字幕译者提供一些参考和建议,也为我国视频公开课字幕翻译做出贡献。
[Abstract]:In recent years, more and more foreign video open courses have been translated to China. Video open course is a good way to introduce advanced knowledge, so it attracts a lot of young students. A considerable number of intellectuals as well as a large number of ordinary viewers, but these very valuable video resources have not been well translated. Video subtitle translation has its own particularity. Although there are many researches on subtitle translation at home and abroad, most of them are about film subtitle translation. However, there are not many researches on the translation of video open class texts. This practical report focuses on the translation of subtitle texts of video open classes, "mindfulness" and "mind-fulness"). This paper summarizes the text characteristics of the video open class subtitles, and discusses the principles to be followed in the video open class subtitle translation through the analysis of the project translation process and the translation cases. It also puts forward the corresponding solutions to the specific problems encountered in the process of translation, focusing on how to adopt appropriate translation methods under the guidance of Skopos theory (such as literal translation method, reduced translation method, incremental translation method, split cut method). So that the target text not only faithfully reflects the original information, but also conforms to the special format requirements of subtitle translation. The author hopes that his experience can provide some references and suggestions for the subtitle translator of the video open lesson, and also contribute to the translation of the Chinese video open class subtitle.
