《建筑经典读本》英汉翻译报告

【摘要】：进入21世纪以来,中国建筑行业发展迅猛。与此同时,海外建筑承包商同样进驻中国市场。然而,繁荣的发展背后,相较海外企业,国内企业还存在巨大的差距。《建筑经典读本》旨在向建筑专业学生介绍该领域重要文献,同样,亦可作参考资料,为建筑师与相关学者提供职业角度与学术角度方面的建筑概观。该书内容收录期刊论文与选定书目章节,作者皆为建筑历史,理论与实践中的突出贡献者。基于布勒对语言功能理论的基础,彼得·纽马克将文本类型主要分为三类;表达性文本,信息型文本,呼唤型文本。在翻译活动中,文本类型通常具备多种功能,兼具信息性,表达性,呼唤性。作为科技英语的分支,建筑文本具有结构严谨,逻辑清晰,表达中立等特点,注重事实性。译者应当将信息功能作为翻译该类型文本的第一要义,保证译文文本符合准确,忠诚,连贯与正式原则。因此,语义翻译与交际翻译十分适用此翻译项目。在纽马克翻译理论的指导下,笔者遵循语义翻译与交际翻译,指导翻译实践,开展翻译研究。从词汇层面,句法层面,跨文化翻译角度,进行案例分析。在词汇层面的翻译上,笔者从增译,措辞,术语翻译角度进行了项目分析。在句法层面,笔者采用了顺译,拆分与重组等灵活策略,保证译文通顺易懂。该报告同样指出了建筑文本中的文化翻译,通过翻译补偿法,翻译文化负载词,防止译文出现文化缺省。最后,该报告结尾总结了翻译实践中的收获与经验,问题与不足之处。旨在为今后类似的翻译项目提供参照与帮助。
[Abstract]:Since 21th century, China's construction industry has grown rapidly. At the same time, overseas construction contractors have also entered the Chinese market. However, the boom is behind the development of overseas companies. There is still a huge gap in domestic enterprises. "Classical Reading of Architecture" aims to introduce the important literature in this field to the students majoring in architecture, and it can also be used as a reference material. To provide architects and related scholars with an overview of architecture from a professional and academic point of view. The book includes journal papers and selected bibliographic chapters written by architectural history. A prominent contributor to theory and practice. Based on Buller's theory of language function, Peter Newmark divided the text types into three categories; Expressive text, informational text, calling text. In translation activities, text types usually have a variety of functions, both informative, expressive, calling. As a branch of EST. The architectural text is characterized by rigorous structure, clear logic, neutral expression and so on. The translator should take the information function as the first meaning of translating this type of text, so as to ensure the accuracy and loyalty of the translated text. Therefore, semantic translation and communicative translation are very suitable for this translation project. Under the guidance of Newmark's translation theory, the author follows semantic translation and communicative translation to guide translation practice. From the perspective of lexical, syntactic and cross-cultural translation, the author carries out a case study. In terms of lexical translation, the author adds translation and wordings. At the syntactic level, the author adopts flexible strategies, such as sequence translation, split and reorganization, to ensure that the translation is easy to understand. The report also points out the cultural translation in the architectural text. Through the method of translation compensation, culture-loaded words can be translated to prevent cultural default in the translation. Finally, the report concludes with a summary of the achievements and experiences in translation practice. Problems and deficiencies. Aims to provide reference and help for similar translation projects in the future.
