《美国人的礼仪》（节选）翻译实践报告

【摘要】：翻译目的论是一种较新且较为重要的西方翻译理论模式。而近些年来,文学翻译也逐渐引起了人们广泛的关注。文学翻译的要求很高,传统意义上的文学翻译仍旧以“对等”作为基本的理论指导。但文学翻译中所谓的对等绝不仅仅是内容和形式上的对等。另一方面,不少学者认为“对等”原则对文学翻译的指导仍有一定的狭隘性和局限性,要实现完全的对等也是不可行的。这时,德国功能派理论提出了“目的论”这一翻译指导理念。目的论认为,翻译应能在目标语情境和文化中,按照读者期待的方式发生作用。翻译行为所要达到的目的决定整个翻译行为的过程,即结果决定方法。在此之后,一些专家学者认为翻译目的论更适合用于指导文学翻译研究。本翻译报告将简要介绍这一理论并以《美国人的礼仪》一书中的部分章节为例,分析目的论如何指导文学翻译。
[Abstract]:Skopos theory is a relatively new and important model of western translation theory. In recent years, literary translation has gradually aroused widespread concern. The requirements of literary translation are very high. Traditional literary translation still takes "equivalence" as the basic theoretical guidance, but the so-called equivalence in literary translation is not only the equivalence in content and form, on the other hand. Many scholars think that the principle of "equivalence" still has certain parochialism and limitation to the guidance of literary translation, and it is not feasible to realize complete equivalence. The Skopos theory in Germany puts forward the Skopos theory, which holds that translation should be in the context and culture of the target language. The purpose of the translation act determines the whole process of the translation behavior, that is, the result determines the method. Some experts and scholars think that Skopos Theory is more suitable for guiding literary translation research. This translation report will briefly introduce this theory and take some chapters in American Etiquette as an example. How does the Skopos Theory guide literary translation?
