重点高中和普通高中英语课堂教师语码转换的对比研究

【摘要】:语码转换是指交谈过程中两种或两种以上语言变体的交互使用现象,关于语码转换的使用历来是学者们饱受争议的问题,但是作为一种广泛的语言现象,语码转换越来越受到社会尤其是教育界的广泛关注,研究者开始从功能语言学、心理语言学和语用学等各个角度探讨语码转换的使用问题,并取得了可观的成绩。但是文献调查表明,对于高中英语课堂的语码转换研究较少,并且较少涉及重点高中与普通高中的对比研究。本文基于前人对于语码转换的研究,以语言顺应理论和标记模式理论为指导,运用课堂观察、课堂录音以及问卷调查三种方法,旨在分析高中英语课堂语码转换的真实情况。本研究分别选取了济南市普通高中与重点高中各一所进行对比研究,研究内容包括:语码转换的原因、分类、功能以及通过问卷调查师生对于语码转换的态度。研究发现,重点高中与普通高中的语码转换既有共性又存在差异:1)语码转换的原因大都是出于对语言现实的顺应,对社会规约以及心理动机的顺应较少;2)两所高中基本都以句内语码转换为主,普通高中句内语码转换的比重高于重点高中;3)语码转换功能以教学为主,重点高中教师比普通高中更加重视管理与心理功能;4)师生基本都赞同课堂上使用语码转换,但是重点高中一部分教师认为语码转换对学生的英语学习有些不利,这一点与学生的看法不一致。最后,基于本文的研究,提出了语码转换应当遵循的原则,给予一定的教学建议,使语码转换真正成为切实有效的教学策略。
[Abstract]:Code-switching refers to the interactive use of two or more language variants in the process of conversation. The use of code-switching has always been a controversial issue for scholars, but as a widespread language phenomenon. Code-switching has attracted more and more attention in society, especially in the field of education. Researchers have begun to explore the use of code-switching from the perspectives of functional linguistics, psycholinguistics and pragmatics. However, the literature survey shows that there is little research on code-switching in senior high school English classes. Based on the previous studies on code-switching, this thesis is guided by linguistic adaptation theory and marker-pattern theory, using classroom observation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the real situation of code-switching in English classroom in senior high schools. The research content includes: the reason of code-switching, classification, function and the attitude of teachers and students to code-switching through questionnaire. The code-switching between key high school and ordinary high school has both commonness and difference. Most of the reasons of code-switching are due to the adaptation to language reality, but less to social regulation and psychological motivation. 2) the two high schools basically take the intra-sentence code-switching as the main part, and the proportion of the intra-sentence code-switching in the ordinary senior high school is higher than that in the key high school; 3) the main function of code-switching is teaching, and the key high school teachers pay more attention to the management and psychological function than the ordinary high school teachers. 4) the teachers and students generally agree with the use of code-switching in the classroom, but some teachers in key senior high schools think that code-switching is not good for students' English learning, which is inconsistent with the students' views. Finally. Based on the research of this paper, the principles of code-switching are put forward, and some teaching suggestions are given to make code-switching a practical and effective teaching strategy.
