《通俗新疆史》（第二章和第六章）翻译实践报告

【摘要】：此次翻译实践以尤金·奈达的功能对等理论为指导,翻译了管守新与万雪玉合著的《通俗新疆史》。该书简要地叙述了新疆的历史和文化,包括地理风貌、神话传说、民族兴衰、艺术典籍等。该选题的文本是信息性文本之下的史学类文本,旨在以客观中立的态度向读者展示真实的新疆史。文章中含有大量典故、寓言等文化负载词,多动词的短句也是其主要特征。为了能在翻译过程中忠实地传达原文的信息并挖掘深层次的文化内涵,笔者采用了功能对等理论作为指导,力求在词汇层面、句法层面、篇章层面和文化层面实现对等。为了更贴近目标语的表达习惯,笔者采用了归化的翻译策略和多种翻译技巧,如:加注法、减译法、替代法、语态转换法、词性转化法等。本实践报告分为五个章节。第一章是写作背景简介,包括作者介绍和翻译实践的意义。第二章对翻译过程做了简要的描述。第三章对功能对等理论做了简要的介绍。第四章是案例分析,主要从词汇、句法、篇章和文化层面解决翻译难点。第五章主要是对此次翻译实践的反思。此次翻译实践具有一定的实用价值,它可以帮助读者了解新疆的全貌,也可以为新疆的历史研究提供参考,还有助于促进中国对外文化交流。
[Abstract]:Guided by Eugene Nida's functional equivalence theory, this translation practice translated Guan Shouxin and Wan Xueyu's popular History of Xinjiang. The book briefly describes Xinjiang's history and culture, including geographical features, myths and legends, and the rise and fall of the nation. The selected text is the historical text under the informative text, which aims to show the readers the true history of Xinjiang with an objective and neutral attitude. The article contains a large number of allusions, fables and other culture-loaded words. The short sentences of multi-verbs are also its main characteristics. In order to convey the original information faithfully in the process of translation and excavate the profound cultural connotation, the author adopts the functional equivalence theory as the guidance, and strives to achieve the lexical level and the syntactic level. In order to get closer to the target language expression habits, the author adopts domesticated translation strategies and various translation techniques, such as note addition, subtraction, substitution, voice conversion, etc. This report is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is a brief introduction to the writing background. Chapter 2 gives a brief description of the translation process. Chapter 3 gives a brief introduction to functional equivalence theory. Chapter 4th is a case study, mainly from lexical and syntactic perspectives. Chapter 5th is mainly about the reflection of the translation practice. This translation practice has some practical value, it can help readers to understand the whole picture of Xinjiang. It can also provide reference for the historical research of Xinjiang and promote the cultural exchange of China's foreign countries.
