《湖边的房子》（节选）英汉翻译的反思性研究报告

【摘要】：笔者节选了小说《湖边的房子》的部分章节,共1万多字的原文进行英译汉翻译实践。小说是美国作家埃拉·凯丽撰写的一部叙事小说。该书以回忆为背景,分别讲述了祖父麦克斯与伊莎贝尔、孙女安娜和威尔的爱情故事。在此次翻译实践中,笔者遇到主要困难是解决小说中的词汇和句法问题。原文中大量用于描写日常生活细节及景物的长句和难句成为此次翻译实践语言难点。笔者以奈达的功能对等理论为理论基础,利用一些翻译策略解决该问题并在一定程度上对句子及语篇进行重组,以便符合中国人的阅读习惯。一方面,为了保持原文的语言文化特色,笔者积极运用异化翻译策略指导翻译实践。另一方面,为了保持译文的通畅和连贯,笔者采用了归化的翻译策略,便于读者理解。通过此次翻译实践和撰写研究报告,笔者不仅拓宽了翻译方法和策略的实践视野,同时也为丰富该领域的研究和实践提出探索性建议及可行性借鉴和参考。
[Abstract]:The author excerpted some chapters of the novel "House by the Lake" and put more than 10,000 words into English-to-Chinese 's translation practice. The novel is a narrative novel written by American writer Ella Kelly. It is set in memory. It tells the love story of grandfather Max and Isabel, granddaughter An Na and will respectively. The main difficulty encountered by the author is to solve the lexical and syntactic problems in the novel. A large number of long sentences and difficult sentences used to describe the daily life details and scenes in the original text have become the difficulties in the translation practice. The author uses Nida's functional equivalence. Theory as the theoretical basis, Some translation strategies are used to solve the problem and to some extent reorganize sentences and texts in order to conform to Chinese reading habits. On the one hand, in order to maintain the linguistic and cultural characteristics of the original text, On the other hand, in order to keep the translation smooth and coherent, the author adopts a domesticated translation strategy to facilitate readers' understanding. The author not only broadens the practical perspective of translation methods and strategies, but also provides some exploratory suggestions and feasible references for enriching the research and practice in this field.
