记者招待会汉英口译中的性别差异:以插入语I think和I believe为例

【摘要】：基于语料库的方法,通过分析译员对插入语I think和I believe的使用,本文旨在考察记者招待会汉英口译中的性别差异。研究结果表明:在表达个人看法时,男性译员明显偏好使用I think,女性译员则主要使用I believe;在功能上,在修饰命题意义和传递人际意义时,男性译员对插入成分I think/believe的使用都明显超过女性译员,表现为更加频繁地主动增添该插入成分;整体而言,男性译员的话语较女性译员显示出更高程度的不确定性。该结果可能与男性和女性所经历的不同社会化过程以及由此决定的语言使用习惯相关。此外,女性社会地位的变化也是原因之一。
[Abstract]:By analyzing the use of I think and I believe by interpreters based on a corpus-based approach, this paper aims to examine the gender differences in Chinese-English interpretation at press conferences. Male interpreters obviously prefer I think/believe, while female interpreters mainly use I believe.Functional, when modifying propositional meaning and transferring interpersonal meaning, male interpreters use I think/believe more than female interpreters. Expressed as more frequent and active additions to the insert; overall, The results may be related to the different socialization processes experienced by men and women, as well as the language usage habits determined by them. The change in the social status of women is also one of the reasons.
