初中低年级英语绘本阅读教学实践有效性研究

【摘要】:在英语语言教学中,尤其是教学对象为初学者,英语绘本,作为教材的补充读物,已逐渐得到广泛使用,也得到学生的青睐。其最大的优点为:有丰富的插图,使文字显得生动活泼。英语绘本中的文章具备情节趣味性强、语言地道、题材丰富等特点。相比于传统的素材单一、内容枯燥的英语阅读教学而言,英语绘本阅读教学更具优势,不仅能够培养学生的阅读兴趣,扩大词汇量,还能够帮助学生学习了解英语国家的文化习俗以及地道的语言。因此,开展英语绘本教学,对提高阅读教学效率具有较大的实践价值。本研究以儿童本位理论和儿童心理发展理论、多元智能理论、语言习得关键期假说、图式理论和读者反应理论为理论基础,以文献分析法,课堂观察法和调查问卷法等为主要研究方法。主要研究问题如下:(1)如何刺激学生的阅读动机和阅读兴趣?(2)如何培养和提学生阅读理解能力?(3)如何在英语绘本阅读过程中,采用更多的教学形式提高学生语言运用能力?笔者选取执教的黄浦区储能中学预备年级两个班40位学生为实验对象。利用绘本进行阅读教学的课程设计,并以此对绘本阅读教学课程进行评价和反思。最后笔者剖析了英语绘本教学与传统阅读教学的差异性。研究表明,绘本阅读以下四大优势:(1)激发学生兴趣,降低阅读难度。(2)架起文化沟通桥梁,拓展学生知识面。(3)有助于教师课堂身份的转换。(4)有利于对学生的情感教育。
[Abstract]:In English language teaching, especially for beginners, English picture books, as supplementary reading materials, have gradually been widely used and favored by students. The articles in English picture books are characterized by interesting plot, authentic language, rich subject matter and so on. Compared with the traditional teaching of English reading with single material and boring content, English picture book reading teaching has more advantages. It can not only cultivate students' reading interest, enlarge their vocabulary, but also help them to learn the cultural customs and idiomatic languages of English countries. It is of great practical value to improve the efficiency of reading teaching. This study is based on the theory of children's standard and children's psychological development, the theory of multiple intelligences, the hypothesis of critical period of language acquisition, the theory of schema and the theory of reader's reaction. The main research methods are literature analysis, classroom observation and questionnaire. The main research questions are as follows: 1) how to stimulate students' reading motivation and interest? (2) how to develop students' reading comprehension ability? How to use more teaching methods to improve students' language use ability in the process of reading English picture books? The author selected 40 students from two classes of preparatory grade in Huangpu district energy storage middle school as experimental objects, and designed the course of reading teaching with picture book. Finally, the author analyzes the difference between picture book teaching and traditional reading teaching. The research shows that picture book reading has the following four advantages: 1) arousing students' interest. To reduce the difficulty of reading, to build a bridge of cultural communication and to expand the students' knowledge. 3) to help teachers to change their classroom identity. 4) to help students' emotional education.
