译者身份、文本选择与传播路径——关于《三国演义》英译的思考

【摘要】：《三国演义》的英译对西方了解中国古典文学有重要的价值和意义。然而长期以来,其英译本并未能引起海外读者和学者的关注。本文试图从译者身份和文本选择的视角,探析《三国演义》在海外译介与传播中所遇困境的真实原因。在明确译者主体的翻译观对《三国演义》英译本有所影响的前提下,适当加强译出模式,并注重读者心态与接受效应,将有助于《三国演义》的英译及海外传播。
[Abstract]:The English translation of the Romance of the three Kingdoms is of great value and significance to the western understanding of Chinese classical literature. However, for a long time, its English translation has not attracted the attention of overseas readers and scholars. This paper explores the real reasons for the difficulties encountered in the translation and dissemination of the Romance of the three Kingdoms. On the premise of making clear that the translator's translation view has an influence on the English translation of the Romance of the three Kingdoms, the translation mode is appropriately strengthened. And pay attention to the readers' mentality and acceptance effect, which will help the English translation of the Romance of the three Kingdoms and its overseas dissemination.
