高中文理科学生英语词汇学习观念及词汇学习策略的调查研究

【摘要】:词汇是语言的重要组成部分,在外语学习中至关重要。词汇学习被视为语言学习最基本的要求。然而词汇学习一直是许多高中生在英语学习中的难题,其表现为英语词汇学习效率低下,英语词汇学习效果不佳。高中英语新课程标准中提高了对高中生英语词汇量的要求,并要求高中生有效运用调控策略、认知策略、社交策略与资源策略这四种学习策略。研究表明,词汇学习策略的有效运用可提高词汇学习效率,提升英语学习的能力。近年来国内外研究者对词汇学习策略展开了多维度的研究,但多针对高校大学生,鲜有对高中文理科学生英语词汇学习策略与词汇学习观念的研究。因此,本文采用问卷调查法和访谈法对240名牡丹江市第一中学的高中文理科学生进行调查,旨在调查新课程标准下,高中生词汇学习观念及词汇学习策略总体运用情况,以及比较文科生与理科生在词汇学习策略运用上存在的异同。笔者通过对高中生词汇学习观念与词汇学习策略使用现状的调查与分析发现:高中生英语词汇学习策略的运用总体处于中等水平;高中文理科学生普遍认为通过运用来学习词汇效果较好;文科生与理科生在资源策略与认知策略运用方面存在一定的差异,在调控策略与社交策略方面呈现相似性。根据以上发现,笔者对高中生英语词汇学习策略的运用及培养给出了相应的建议旨在帮助学生提高词汇学习观念的运用,指导学生交替使用多种词汇学习策略。
[Abstract]:Vocabulary is an important part of language, which is very important in foreign language learning. Vocabulary learning is regarded as the most basic requirement of language learning. However, vocabulary learning has always been a difficult problem for many high school students in English learning. The English vocabulary learning efficiency is low and the English vocabulary learning effect is not good. The new English curriculum standard of senior high school has raised the requirements for senior high school students' English vocabulary size and asked them to effectively use the control strategies and cognitive strategies. The study shows that the effective use of vocabulary learning strategies can improve the efficiency of vocabulary learning. In recent years, researchers at home and abroad have carried out a multi-dimensional study on vocabulary learning strategies, but most of them are aimed at college students. There are few studies on English vocabulary learning strategies and vocabulary learning concepts of senior high school students. Therefore, 240 senior high school students in Mudanjiang No. 1 Middle School were investigated by questionnaire and interview. The purpose of this study is to investigate the overall application of vocabulary learning concepts and vocabulary learning strategies in senior high school students under the new curriculum standards. Through the investigation and analysis of the present situation of senior high school students' concept of vocabulary learning and the use of vocabulary learning strategies, the author finds out that senior high school students' English vocabulary learning is based on a comparison of the differences and similarities between arts and science students in the use of vocabulary learning strategies. The use of strategies is generally at a medium level; Senior high school students of arts, science and science generally think that the use of vocabulary learning is better, and there are some differences between arts students and science students in the use of resource strategies and cognitive strategies. On the basis of the above findings, the author gives some suggestions on the application and cultivation of senior high school students' English vocabulary learning strategies in order to help them improve their concept of vocabulary learning. Guide students to use multiple vocabulary learning strategies alternately.
