基于思维导图的大学英语写作教学模式的实验研究

【摘要】:众所周知,英语写作能力是学生语言能力的重要组成部分,在日常学习和工作中占有重要地位。但是,根据笔者的课堂观察,发现大多数非英语专业大学生对英语写作没有兴趣,同时,笔者发现许多英语老师对英语写作教学不够重视,教学方法陈旧且低效。鉴于此,笔者采用了基于思维导图的英语写作教学模式,并借助实验来论证其可行性和有效性。本文以桂林理工大学博文管理学院旅游管理专业的两个班共76名学生为研究对象,采用测试、问卷与访谈等手段,探讨基于思维导图的写作教学模式的效用。本文主要探讨以下三个问题:(1)它能否有助于提高学生的写作成绩;(2)它能否有助于提升学生的写作兴趣;(3)就高中低分组而言,它对哪个群体更适用?研究结果表明:在基于思维导图的英语写作教学模式下,实验班学生的写作成绩明显高于控制班;该模式激发了学生对英语写作的兴趣和积极性;这种模式对于高中低分数组的学生影响有所差异,相比之下,它更适合于中分组和低分组学生。根据研究成果,笔者分别给教师和学生提出了相应的启示。由于本研究存在某些局限性,在本文的最后,笔者还为今后的研究提出了相关建议。
[Abstract]:As we all know, English writing ability is an important part of students' language ability and plays an important role in daily study and work.However, according to the author's classroom observation, it is found that most non-English majors are not interested in English writing. At the same time, the author finds that many English teachers do not pay enough attention to the teaching of English writing, and the teaching methods are outdated and inefficient.In view of this, the author adopts the teaching mode of English writing based on thinking map, and proves its feasibility and effectiveness with the aid of experiments.Taking 76 students from two classes of tourism management major of Guilin University of Science and Technology as the research object, this paper discusses the utility of writing teaching mode based on thinking map by means of test, questionnaire and interview.This paper mainly discusses the following three questions: 1) can it help to improve students' writing scores? can it help enhance students' interest in writing?The results show that under the mode of thinking map based English writing teaching, the students in the experimental class have higher writing scores than those in the control class, and this model has aroused students' interest and enthusiasm in English writing.This model has different effects on high school students with low scores, by contrast, it is more suitable for middle group and low group students.According to the research results, the author gives corresponding enlightenment to teachers and students.At the end of this paper, some suggestions are put forward for the future research because of the limitations of this study.
