同伴教学法在大学英语听说教学中的应用研究

【摘要】:同伴教学法(PI)由美国哈佛大学著名教授埃里克·马祖尔创立,是当今国际教育教学领域中最具影响力的教学方法之一,也是一种最受欢迎的适合大班授课的交互式教学方式。该教学法改变了传统的课堂教学模式,坚持“以学生为主体、以教师为主导”的教学思想,坚持以“激发学生主动思考、培养学生的创新能力和锻炼学生的批判性思维”为认知理念和教学目标,坚持通过“合作学习”或“协作式学习”来促进教学环节中的生生互动和师生互动,同时注重教学中的过程性评价和终结性评价的有机结合。该教学法有利于大学英语听说教学摆脱传统的教学方法和教学模式的影响和限制,能够满足“培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后的工作、学习、以及社会交往中能够用英语有效进行交际”的教学目标和要求,同时能够满足个人和社会发展的需要。鉴于此,笔者决定探索将同伴教学法应用于大学英语听说教学的理论和实践研究。研究结果表明:同伴教学法自主、合作、探究的教学模式使学生的学习由被动变为主动,因此在提高学生自主学习能力的同时能够有效增加他们的学习兴趣。重要的是,同伴教学法能够实现大学英语听说教学中听力和口语的有机结合,有利于提高学生的听说能力,尤其对学生口语表达能力的提升具有明显效果。尽管作为一种教学方法,同伴教学法不可避免地有其局限性,但是从本研究的结果看,同伴教学法能够有效解决大学英语听说教学中的一些问题,因此应该倡导将该教学法与我国本土的英语教学相结合,使其成为我国现有外语教学法的有力补充。
[Abstract]:The Peer Teaching method (Pi) was founded by Eric Mazur, a famous professor at Harvard University in the United States. It is one of the most influential teaching methods in the field of international education and teaching. It is also the most popular interactive teaching method suitable for teaching in large classes.The teaching method has changed the traditional classroom teaching mode, insisted on the teaching thought of "taking the students as the main body and the teacher as the leading", and persisted in "inspiring the students to think on their own initiative".To cultivate students' creative ability and to train students' critical thinking "is the cognitive idea and teaching goal, and we insist on promoting the interaction between students and students through" cooperative learning "or" cooperative learning ".At the same time, we should pay attention to the organic combination of process evaluation and summative evaluation in teaching.This teaching method is helpful for college English listening and speaking teaching to get rid of the influence and limitation of traditional teaching method and teaching mode, and to meet the requirement of "developing students' comprehensive English application ability, especially listening and speaking ability, so as to enable them to work and study in the future."And the teaching aim and requirement of being able to communicate effectively in social communication, and to meet the needs of personal and social development at the same time.In view of this, the author decided to explore the application of peer approach to college English listening and speaking teaching theory and practice.The results show that the teaching mode of peer teaching autonomy, cooperation and inquiry can change students' learning from passive to active. Therefore, it can effectively increase students' interest in learning while improving their ability of autonomous learning.It is important that the peer approach can realize the organic combination of listening and speaking in college English listening and speaking teaching, which is beneficial to the improvement of students' listening and speaking ability, especially to the improvement of students' oral expression ability.As a teaching method, peer approach has its limitations, but from the results of this study, it can effectively solve some problems in college English listening and speaking teaching.Therefore, it should be advocated to combine this teaching method with native English teaching in our country so as to make it a powerful supplement to the existing foreign language teaching methods in our country.
