目的论视角下宁波地方法规英译的翻译报告

【摘要】：近年来,随着改革开放方针的深化落实,国家制定了一系列的法律、法规规章和部门性法规。法律法规是规范社会行为,维护社会安定秩序的重要工具之一,也是人类社会的经济发展水平和社会文明程度的重要体现之一。这些法律规章为社会主义法制和社会主义市场经济建设,为我国在引进外资、跨国并购等经济活动方面同世界接轨提供了保障和规范。宁波是著名的现代化国际港口城市,是长三角南翼经济中心,一直走在改革开放的前沿。本项目选取三部宁波地方法规,旨在分析研究地方法规规章的英文翻译,帮助英语语言国家读者了解宁波地区的立法体系,同时也便于国外商人和外国友人在宁波生活并开展工作,进而促进宁波地区的招商引资工作。这也是宁波法制办组织安排宁波地方法规和规章英译的初衷。本文以汉斯·弗米尔的目的论作为理论指导,对法律法规文本进行研究,发现其文本特点;并从词汇和句法层面举例分析,探究源文本的预定翻译目的在译入语中的实现。该翻译报告共分为五个部分:第一部分是翻译任务描述,主要介绍了所选翻译项目的背景、意义以及源文本的词汇和句法特点;第二部分是翻译过程描述,主要包括译前准备过程和翻译、校对过程。第三部分是理论基础,主要介绍了目的论及其对法律文本翻译的指导意义。第四部分是案例分析,通过实例从词汇和句法层面进行综合性分析,并提出相应的翻译策略。最后一部分是翻译实践总结,主要总结了翻译过程中遇到的困难及本次翻译实践中的不足点,并对未来该领域的研究提出了展望。
[Abstract]:In recent years, with the deepening of the policy of reform and opening up, the state has formulated a series of laws, regulations and sectoral regulations.Laws and regulations are one of the important tools to regulate social behavior and maintain social stability and order, as well as an important embodiment of the level of economic development and the degree of social civilization of human society.These laws and regulations provide a guarantee and standard for the socialist legal system and the construction of socialist market economy, as well as for China's economic activities such as the introduction of foreign capital, cross-border mergers and acquisitions and other economic activities in line with the world.Ningbo is a famous modern international port city, the economic center of the Yangtze River Delta south wing, has been in the forefront of reform and opening up.The purpose of this project is to analyze and study the English translation of local laws and regulations, and to help readers in English-speaking countries understand the legislative system in Ningbo.At the same time, it is convenient for foreign businessmen and foreign friends to live and work in Ningbo.This is also the original intention of Ningbo legal Office to arrange the translation of Ningbo local laws and regulations into English.Under the guidance of Hans Vermeer's Skopos Theory, this paper studies the texts of laws and regulations, finds out the characteristics of the texts, and explores the realization of the intended translation purpose of the source text in the target language through examples from the lexical and syntactic levels.The translation report is divided into five parts: the first part is the translation task description, which mainly introduces the background, meaning and the lexical and syntactic characteristics of the source text, and the second part is the translation process description.Mainly includes pre-translation preparation process and translation, proofreading process.The third part is the theoretical basis, mainly introduces Skopos theory and its guiding significance for legal text translation.The fourth part is a case study, through examples from the lexical and syntactic level comprehensive analysis, and put forward the corresponding translation strategies.The last part is a summary of translation practice, which summarizes the difficulties encountered in the process of translation and the shortcomings of this translation practice, and puts forward a prospect for future studies in this field.
