【摘要】：近年来,传记文学的创作和英语人物传记的汉译都有了长足的发展,国内外越来越多的学者都开始重视对传记文学的研究。作为当代文学研究的重要领域之一,传记文学具有“历史性”和“文学性”的特点,这是其他文本诸如科技类、新闻类等文本所不具有的。在翻译传记文学的过程中,译者既要准确传达原文信息,又要尽量体现原文的文学性。传记文学著作《一段未被记录的历史:E.M.福斯特的人生》一书详细介绍了20世纪英国作家爱德华·摩根·福斯特不为人知的一面。该书作者温蒂·莫法特通过引用相关书信、笔记日志、福斯特朋友们的回忆以及使用一些带有文学色彩的描述,生动并全面地描写了福斯特的私人生活。本翻译实践报告选用本书其中两章内容的翻译为研究对象,结合翻译目的论的三原则,研究并分析这两章的翻译实践。本实践报告主要包括五个部分。第一部分为任务描述;第二部分详细介绍了本实践报告运用的理论框架;第三部分介绍了笔者的整个翻译过程;第四部分是案例分析,笔者结合翻译中遇到的典型案例,分析并说明翻译时采用的翻译方法及翻译策略;最后一部分为总结。
[Abstract]:In recent years, the creation of biographical literature and the translation of English biographies have made great progress, and more and more scholars at home and abroad have begun to attach importance to the study of biographical literature.As one of the important fields of contemporary literature research, biographical literature has the characteristics of "history" and "literariness", which other texts such as science and technology, news and other texts do not have.In the process of translating biographical literature, translators should not only convey the original information accurately, but also embody the literariness of the original text as much as possible.Biographical works < A piece of unrecorded History: E. M.Foster's Life details the unknown side of 20 th century English writer Edward Morgan Foster.The book's author, Wendy Moffat, vividly and comprehensively describes Foster's private life by quoting letters, notebooks, the memories of Foster's friends and the use of literary descriptions.This paper studies and analyzes the translation practice of the two chapters in this book, combining with the three principles of Skopos Theory.This practice report mainly includes five parts.The first part is the task description; the second part introduces the theoretical framework of the practice report in detail; the third part introduces the author's whole translation process; the fourth part is the case analysis, the author combines the typical cases in translation.This paper analyzes and explains the translation methods and strategies used in translation. The last part is a summary.
